How to approach this college girl?

theres this really cute girl in my college art class. Its only my 5th time in class tomorrow and i havent talked to her yet. In fact most of us just go in and do our work so none of us hardly talk to each other, she seems friendly though but how do i start a conversation with her and keep it going?
