Is it possible to put a Chevrolet 700R4 Automatic Transmission on A Chrysler 318 V8 5.2L?

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited and Im tired of replacing the stock chrysler transmission and want to put a beffier trans on it... Any ideas would be much appreciated!!! Thanks
