Most prestigous art college in New York?

I am in high school right now and looking into PESO for liberal arts, then finishing it up at my local community college. Afterwards I'd like to go to an art school in a big city. A GREAT one. I love San Fransico, but I am going to New York on a family vacation this summer and I want to tour some. Any suggestions? After I get a degree from there, I want to study abroad in Europe. Do you know of any good programs for that as well? Also, for both, what are the requirments? GPA? Level of schooling needed?
