Why wont my engine turn on my chevy?

I have a 2002 chevrolet impala. I was driving it parked it and about 10secobds later it wouldbt start again. I thought it was the battery but definitely isn't. My fluid are full. I turn the key and all I could hear is a click and a small grating noise from then engine as if its barely turning. And minor smoke help lleasee :(
