2001 Chevrolet Malibu subwoofers and amp hook up?

ok....i just bought some subwoffers and an amp off of a friend. I want to know if there is any way to hook them up to my stock radio. the radio is pretty basic, it doesnt have a cd or tape player on it either. i am trying to stay away from blowing all of my money on this where the wiring harness itself is around $100 to put in an aftermarket deck. pleaaasseee help me. i dont know much about this so please explain in a way i can understand.
