I own a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo. While applying the brakes, the headlights dim.?

Well you could have a week alternator or battery. I know when I have my amps and subs going and I hit the breaks they dim, so it might be the battery. Go out and get a bigger one and see if that does the trick. Not sure about the drl though. Good luck
